Azhar Corporation (Pvt) Limited was founded by late Sheikh Muhammad Sharif in the year 1979. Under his supervision and guidance, the company progressed and was established as one of the leading laundry soap producers in Pakistan. The company kept growing every year until his demise, in 1999. After which Sheikh Muhammad Munawwar took over as the CEO of the company.

His visionary leadership and progressive approach took the company to new heights within a few years and for the first time, the company diversified its business into toilet soaps, detergents, and washing powders. Manufacturing of high quality edible products like cooking oil and banaspati also started in his time and state of the art machinery was installed indifferent production units.

Mr. Azhar lqbal and Mr. Hassan Munawwar also played integral roles, resulting in the company becoming the largest producer of laundry soap in Pakistan. Mr. Azhar lqbal stood by Mr. Munawwar throughout and worked tirelessly with complete commitment. His hard work, dedication and technical support remained unmatched due to which the company not only retained its leading position as top producer of laundry soap in Pakistan but also Azhar Corporation’s brand GM was named as the ‘Top Laundry Brand’ in Pakistan in the year 2018.

After the death of Sheikh Muhammad Munawwar in June 2020, his son, Mr. Hassan Munawwar, was designated as the CEO of the company. Today, the company’s journey towards the glory continues under the leadership of Mr. Azhar lqbal and Mr. Hassan Munawwar.
